Born and raised in the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago, KSmooth, Chief Producer and Founder of PowerPlay Beats, spent his childhood and early years of his adult life actively engaged under the musical tutelage of his matriarch lineage.  Here, he developed musical skills from his late grandmother, a classical alto singer and his aunt, a high school music teacher. His development was aided by an ear for music gifted from his father, Clive Telemaque - a world renowned panist.

KSmooth started honing his talents as the youth organist for his church in the early 2000s, before moving to the United States in 2005. In 2008, he ventured into managing Taurus Movement, a DJ group renowned in the sound clash music industry throughout the Caribbean and the USA. In this partnership, KSmooth capitalized on his uncanny ability to captivate an audience into feeling at ease, engaged and free-spirited.

KSmooth went on to manage his first music artiste in 2014, and then started producing multiple genres of music in 2016. Today, KSmooth is an avid producer. His beats are vibrant, dynamic, and offer a variety of instrumental complexity as well as simplicity. His raw talent and warm demeanor invites a collaborative union between producer and artiste.
